The assignment for this blog post was to "find a recent article about how a specific company uses RSS or Atom to make information available to its employees or customers."
RSS seems to be a dying breed and the most recent articles I could find on the subject were written five or more years ago.
However, I did a little digging and found that CNN has a page devoted to RSS feeds. They have links on the page that bring up popups about what RSS is and how to use it. Then there are several categories that can be subscribed to, including Technology, Video, Top Stories, Most Recent, and more. There is a link for more feeds to subscribe to at CNNmoney.com. There is also a link to their podcast page where podcasts can also be subscribed to.
As much as it seems like RSS is falling out of favor in general, CNN is still going strong with it.
