According
to Alexa.com, the top ten websites globally are Google, YouTube,
Facebook, Baidu, Wikipedia, Reddit, Yahoo, Google India, Qq, and
Taobao. All ten of these sites are Web 2.0 sites. They are so popular
for a variety of reasons from entertainment value to connecting with
friends, family, and people around the world, to having the answer to
any question right at your fingertips. Using Facebook as an example,
there is so much more to it than telling people what you are doing
and sharing pictures, which is mostly what it was used for in the
beginning. Now you can share videos, play games, make groups, join
groups, and meet people from all over the world, among many other
things. As far as having information right at your fingertips, you
can utilize anything from a simple search engine, to Wikipedia, to
Wikis that have very specific information all in one place. It has
been so interesting watching the internet grow and change into Web
2.0 and I can't wait to see what else they come up with.

Gmail
Gmail
is Google's email. When it was first launched, you could only get an
account by invitation. Now anyone can get an account, or several
accounts if they wish. You can also link all of your accounts so that
they are accessible from one account. A newer feature of Gmail is
that after they filter out spam, they will filter your messages into
three category folders—Primary, Social, and Promotions. Gmail also
offers a search bar that will search your emails for you. You can
access Gmail through any computer, tablet or phone using a web browser or the
Gmail app.

Welcome to my blog!
Hello
and welcome! My name is Crista and this blog is going to teach you
all kinds of fun and interesting facts about food. Things you never
knew you wanted to know! I got the idea for this blog when my
brother-in-law asked me if I know why pistachios aren't red anymore.
This discussion evolved into looking up random foods to see what
interesting facts we could learn about them. Stay tuned to learn
such things as why pistachios used to be red, why bananas are picked
at night, and what olestra was. Thanks for reading and come back
soon!
